Hi
My Daughter is 6.5months old.
So when she was born after about 2 weeks her Dad gave her a dummy to help her settle as she was a very unhappy baby which we later found out was due to a CMPA!
So my issue is, when she goes to bed at night she rubs her face/ears/eyes knocking out her dummy thus waking herself up ALL night long

Does anyone have any idea on how I can stop her doing this? I've been using the sleep suits with attached mittens which had helped her not scatch her face, but they don't go past 6 months.
Thanksb

She'll soon be able to replace it by herself- practise in the day time. Then put lots of dummies in the cot so she can find one at night.

Greentomatoes21 thank you.
I hope she does work it out. It really disturbs her sleep. But she doesn't do the rubbing, pulling so much in the day 🤷‍♀️

It's a really frustrating time. I think it happens with most babies who use dummies. My daughter was the same. When your baby is awake, put one in her hand and guide it towards her mouth. Keep doing it. She'll get there very soon. I think my daughter was between 7 and 8 months.
