One nap at 10 months

My 10 month old has suddenly decided they no longer need an afternoon nap?! They sleep 12 hours at night (6.30pm-6.30am) and has a 1-2 hour nap at 9.30am. I have no problem with that in principle as he seems happy enough in the afternoon - but my eldest always did a 2 hour nap in the afternoons, and only dropped to one nap at around 16 months.
Has anyone else got a LO with this schedule? Should I be trying to shift the nap back a bit?
Thank you!

I don’t see any reason to try and bring the afternoon nap back if they’re still having a great sleep at night.

My DD is 10 months and often does the same thing. Sleeps from 20:00-8:00, has a 1-2hr nap at 10:30-12:30. She should then have a nap from 15:30-16:30 but sometimes doesn’t want too. If then she doesn’t nap then no problem as she still sleeps through at her normal time.
I personally don’t think you need to do anything unless it starts messing with his nighttime routine

My dd dropped to one nap well before she was 6 months old. Tbh I don't think it matter when it is in the day if they are happy. I did gradually shift my dd's back but only to try and fit it a bit more with when the others were sleeping at nursery as this meant that she had a much longer nap there if she could nap at 12

Mine did the same at around that age. Sounds like a your DC is a brilliant sleeper, don't rock the boat!

Thanks ladies. Nice to have some reassurance.
I guess it's just different to my eldest and a lot of my friends' kids - but it's working right now so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mine stopped naps altogether at 12 months. There was nothing I could do except be slightly jealous of friends' children that napped!

Mine is 9 months she slept 7pm-7am last night and has only slept 12.20-12.55pm today and that'll be it now
Most of our naps are 30-45 mins
Occasionally she'll Do a few days of longer ones but it's rare
Honestly they don't read the books imo
It's annoying 😂
