4.5 month old fighting sleep in the day HELP!

My 4.5 month old fights sleep during the day. If I put her down drowsy she will slowly work herself into an irate state in the the crib or on me as soon as she starts to drift off. She has never slept well in crib. She had colic up until a few weeks ago, so has only started to settle recently. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it? Some days I’m lucky and I can get a few naps out of her in the crib but each time it’s such a performance. Just some days she doesn’t fight it as much. It’s so infuriating. She desperately needs the sleep but won’t allow herself. I have to bounce and sooth her for about 15-30 mins just to even get her to nap on me.
Thank god she sleeps at night, and for some reason will happily go back to bed after night feeds. But in the day, it’s like I’m torturing her when I try to put her down. And even when she does sleep it’s only ever 30-40 minutes max.
Anyone have any advise!? I feel like I’m losing my mind.

I would say don't put her down drowsy or after she has just fed. Put her in her pram for a nap at 9.30/10am every day and also around 12 noon/1pm. Put white noise on full blast and rock the pram back and forth. It will take a little bit of time but she will start to get used to that being nap time. My first I did it all baby led and the sleep deprivation was awful. This worked so well for me.
