4.5 month old sleep

Hi all,

So my little boy is 4.5 minths old and for the last week had been sleeping 7 to 7 with no wake ups. I'm just worried if this is okay as I know babies normally wake up for 1/2 feeds at this age. He has 5/6 lots of 10oz bottles in the day, he's 99th centile for weight and 19 pounds so maybe that has something to do with it?

However, his day sleep is atrocious. He'll get up at 7.15, we'll play and feed and then he'll have a 3 hour nap between 915 and 1215 but then he'll struggle for another nap so by the time his bedtime routine starts at 630 he's so miserable and tired. I've tried everything to get him down for an afternoon nap but he'll only ever do about 45 mins to 1 hour and I know it's not enough as he gets so cranky :/ does anyone have any tips for afternoon naps?

Thank you xx

7-7 at night and 3 hours in the day, enjoy it!

Agree with PP!
Only suggestion would be capping his morning nap at maybe 2 hours so you wake him up and then seeing if he's happier with an afternoon nap?

Good lord - you are one very lucky mummy!

I know I'm very lucky but it's still hard to see him be so miserable in the evenings. Sad he obviously really loves his sleep but battles it in the afternoon
