My 2y9mo has been a pretty champion sleeper since he was about 12 months (bar teething, illness and some rough bouts of separation anxiety). For a long time we’ve had to wake him at 7.30, sometimes 8am! Over the last couple of months he’s started getting upset at bedtime and not settling for 30 mins so I started moving his nap later and reducing the length of it. He then started waking earlier in the morning around 6.15am. I decided I’d trial dropping it completely but have taken his lead and if he seems tired in the afternoon or asks for a nap he’s had 30 mins or so. I also moved his bedtime earlier from 7.30/45pm to 6.45/7pm but we’re still getting 6am wakes.
Tell me it gets better! Is there anything I’m missing that could get me a 7am wake up?! My 7.5mo wakes a lot at night so a 6am start is killing me!
