18 month sleep regression?

Writing in desperation as I honestly don't know what to do anymore. My little girl has gone from being the best little sleeper to an absolute nightmare and we're exhausted. She's screaming as I type this. She will scream and jump around in her cot until she's eventually sick.

Nothing has changed in her room. No change to her routine. Is this a sleep regression? How do I get my happy baby girl back?

I can't do this anymore Sad

Hmm it's really hard to say as this could be triggered by anything. Has there not been any change in her routine at all?

It could be that she's perhaps over tired and wears herself out more during the day? Have you tried to put her to bed earlier? How is her daytime napping?

@whatthej3ff do you have an update? How soon did it pass? We are going through this now 😭

@MuffyRogers It lasted about 6 weeks in total, was an absolute nightmare but it did pass and she went back to her normal self!

We made bedtime as boring as possible when she played up. We went back into her room, stood by the door and kept saying the same phrase… “lie down, time for sleep, love you.” She soon learned it wasn’t party time but it did take an enormous amount of patience.
