Hello

Can you please tell me what your evening routines for a 9 month old are?

Thanks

My 9 month old has dinner at around 5pm, he's brothers play with him for a around 40 minutes, bath (if he hasn't had one earlier on in the day) pj's, bottle at about 6- 6.30 and asleep by 7-7.30 . My other two sons are also in bed at the same time so I think it helps that the whole house goes from chaos to almost silent at the same time every evening 🙃

So we do change in the sleeping bag. Cuddle with me and Daddy. Then bottle. Then upstairs, white noise turned on. Sing twinkle twinkle little star for a minute or two. Then, roll away from us into cot. Pop hand on back and bum stay like that for 30 seconds or so and walk away.

We don't do a bath before bed. We find it stimulates, and she prefers it in daytime as she gets a bit too tired after dinner for it.

I didn't think about timings.
5pm dinner. We have moved it later now.
7pm ish change into sleeping bag etc.
730pm bottle
740pm rest of bottle. Always likes 5 mins break between the two half's
745pm bed.
8pm generally always asleep.

Dinner at 5pm, bottle about 6pm, into her cot at 6.20pm, night light on, ocean sounds playing, kiss goodnight and leave the room, she's usually asleep in minutes (yes, I know I am blessed, especially as the almost 2 year old asks to go to bed the minute the baby's gone down!)

Thanks these are really useful. My wee one stopped all of his night feeds at once and then all of a sudden went back to three a night. He was sleeping roughly 10-7 for about 3 months but is now not settling til 930/10 and then up around 1/3/5am. He has a feed and goes over again quite quickly but still finding it exhausting. He is teething so not sure if it's because of that? Have been doing a morning bath purely as it's easier to fit in our day at the minute but may switch to night time and see if that helps. Also trying to get him to eat more before bed but it doesn't seem to have helped. He usually sleeps around. 6-7 and is full of beans until 930/10 but I can't seem to keep him awake to avoid the 6-7 nap. He's just so full of energy!

What's lo nap schedule? For the whole day?

With my two it was always dinner at 5, bath at 6, into pjs then milk and a few stories, teeth then bed.
