5month old routine

1st time mummy & DS is 5 months.
I feel like we don't really have a routine. He naps every time he's tired / feeds when hungry & goes to bed with me.

I'd love to have a set sleep schedule where he naps X amount of times a day at the same time.

Has anyone got a good sleep schedule?
Also would love some advice on how you get them to sleep for bedtime 🤪 Atm he goes to sleep in my bed with me laying next to him holding his dummy in. Any advice on how to get him in his cot? Tia

I'd start by downloading the huckleberry app and logging naps and feed times and see if there is a pattern and work from that? Generally 3 naps a day at 5 months old. Don't let them sleep after 5pm if you want them to go to bed at 7. Do same bedtime routine every night. Cap day time sleep at around 3 hours or less.
