I posted last week about DS 3 1/2 months who had suddenly stopped sleeping thorugh the night. i thought it was a blip post illness and being away for christmas but he is getting worse and worse. He just doesn't want to be in his cot, just wants to be snuggled in my arms. Last night he woke up 7 times between 9.30 and 3.30 when i finally gave in and took him into bed with me. He goes down brilliantly at 7.30, all by himself i don't have to rock or feed him, he's always awake and puts himself to sleep. He used to settle himself when he woke up in the night but now he just wakes crying which soon turns to screaming. He's exhausted today, i'm exhausted and i jsut don't knwo what's gone wrong. He's not hungry so i don;t think it is weaning related. He is teething, but mostly i think he just wants his mummy.
Help!

Okay, he's teething - what are you doing to help that? Infant Nurofen is good - anti-inflammatory for the swollen gums as well as pain relieving. Teething gel should also be liberally given.

Sometimes you just have to take them to bed with you though - it does pass.

Could yourself lucky - DD (14 months) has never slept through!
