Hiya,
So my 7month old is a bit funny with sleeping at the moment. He will fall asleep in my arms at bedtime no problem but I end up having to hold him for a good 2hours before I can put him down in his cot without him moaning. He will then only sleep for about 30mins-1hr before he is wriggling and crying again.
It’s got to the point where if we pick him up and pop him in our bed he will sleep no bother until about 3-4am when he wakes for milk.
Bizarrely after that feed we are able to pop him back in his cot and he sleeps till 7am.
Does anyone have any experience of babies being selective in when they sleep in their cots? I have been trying to get him to nap in their during the day instead of being held or having naps in the car etc but it isn’t working well either.
We have a 6 year old who also likes to sleep in our bed and it’s impossible trying to have them both in the bed at once so it’s disrupting everyone’s sleep 😞
