How to push back bedtime

I’ve always been very led by DS and his sleep, he has two solid naps a day but his natural bedtime seems to be between 6 and half 6. He’s completely exhausted and miserable after that. The upshot of this is that he’s awake for the day around 6, but I can usually persuade him back to sleep for another half hour if I cuddle him in bed. He wakes for one or two night feeds as well. Do I just have to accept this is the way he’s built or is there a gentle way I can push bedtime back? I was thinking of just waiting for the clock change in a couple of weeks and seeing if that helps!

It seems quite normal to me

How old?
My DD is almost nine months
She sleeps 6/6.30pm-6/6.30am
Occasionally until 7 ISH
She wakes up but finds her own dummy and goes back to sleep a couple of times a night

She has two naps a day as well
She's exhausted by 6

I get up at 6am everyday for work. When my kids were babies they woke up at 4.30am. 6am is good IMO.

Think you've got the perfect solution in your OP! Defo wait until the clocks go forward in a few weeks, problem solved! Grin

Thanks everyone! Sorry I forgot to say, he’s just turned 9 months. Think I’ll just wait for the clocks and pray he doesn’t start waking when the sun comes up 😂
