Moving to his own room

My baby is 8 months old ( I know a little late in moving to his own room and maybe part of the problem) he was sleeping all night in his next to me without wakening however he is wakening 3-5 times a night now that he is in his own room. He’s not up for any length of time maybe 15minutes or less if he is just looking for his dummy. I’m not bothered about me getting up to see to him at all but I was wondering if there was something I could do to make him feel more settled or will that come with time he’s only been in his room for 6 nights. I feel in his next to me he was more secure probably because he was he was getting to big for it though and could touch the sides if he put his arms out at either side, now he’s in a cotbed and looks tiny with so much space.

Not at all late. I didn't move LO until they were 1.

Oh I just thought the longer I left it the harder it would get. He did run out of room in his next to me though, I feel I need to see it through now Blush

Is his room colder than yours maybe?
