I've stopped breastfeeding but baby still wants to latch/feed at night ?

For about a month I've switched to expressing and giving bottles to baby, this has been successful in the day, but he wakes up a lot at night and the only thing that settles him is breastfeeding. I really need to try and stop as I'm going back to work soon (night shifts) I've tried doing it for less and less time every feed, most of the times he just wants to latch and isn't actually getting milk (or much of anyway)
Any ideas on how to stop? I've tried offering a bottle at night but no luck

Dummy?

How old is he? If he’s old enough that you’re not going to give yourself Mastitis by stopping the night feeds, I’d try stopping the night feeds. - Get your partner to deal with him for a whole night. Offer water or expressed milk/formula/cows milk if he seems really hungry. Ideally go and stay with friends or family. They do figure it out eventually but you may find the waking up continues even if you manage to put a stop to the night feeds.

Sorry I forgot to mention, he's 6 months old, he won't accept a dummy Confused
