Rolling in cot

I am just starting the process of moving my 6 month old little girl into her own room and into her cot. My first attempt isn't going very well as she keeps rolling over and crying as she can't roll herself back. She is used to sleeping in the snuzpod which is much smaller and hasn't got the room to roll.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can stop her rolling?

Does she still fit in the snuzpod? You could just move it into her room for now. Only one change at a time is never a bad thing for a smooth transition either. Then lots of tummy time during the day to encourage learning to roll front to back. And hopefully in a few weeks she’ll have cracked it!

Lots of practise and teaching in the day in hopes lo gets it soon and doesn't need you to turn over. I used to leave my lo on the floor to get a little frustrated to help them teach themselves, too. That sounds mean, but it was advised on here

My DD was exactly the same. It only lasted a few weeks of being in the cot and then she stopped getting upset when she was on her tummy and/or learnt to move herself around a bit more. Now she only sleeps on her tummy!
