Considering transitioning to 1 nap for my 15month old. Lately he’s been taking longer and longer to fall asleep for naps and bedtime, with bedtime getting pushed later and later. Started off with just the afternoon nap but now takes 15/30+ mins to fall asleep for both naps and bedtime (was previously within 5 minutes) and will wake up after 30/40 minutes for afternoon nap, sometimes for both. He just doesn’t seem tired enough so I think he’s ready to transition but my issue is will he automatically lengthen his nap? At the moment the most he’ll sleep is around 1h15mins. He used to manage closer to 2 hours but hasn’t in months now. I’m just worried about putting him to sleep at 12 and he’s up again by 1 then won’t make it to bedtime without a struggle. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! For reference he’s usually up between 7-8am in the morning and bedtime was previously 7.30/8 before the nap struggles!
