Help to stop accidental co-sleeping

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has some suggestions on how to quickly get out of co-sleeping with my 1 year old daughter?

At 8 months she was poorly and we ended up in hospital for 3 viruses attacking her lungs, she recovered quite quickly but whilst she was I'll the only time she would sleep was on me and for the last 5 months she will now only sleep in my bed at night.

I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant and have been putting off getting her in to her own bed in her own room, but I know this now needs to be done sooner rather than later.

Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Not sure there's a quick fix here, but maybe try the gradual retreat method?

Can she stay in your room? You could do floor beds for a while so it's a gradual transition? You don't have long left before baby comes I appreciate, but that may unsettle her so much you might be better off waiting. I know room sharing has worked for a few friends with babies and toddlers.
