Hi,
So just over a week ago we made the switch to cow's milk with my newly turned one year old. I gradually introduced it as he wouldn't accept it at first. But as soon as it was more cow's milk than formula he started waking hungry for a bottle in the middle of the night.. he's fully on cow's milk now but I can't cope with the fact his sleeping has gotten worse. He's always had a bottle around 5am and gone back to sleep until around 8am but now he's waking around 1/2am for one also and drinking it which tells me he actually does want it.. he's a big boy for his age and I have tried filling him up before bed last night he had Weetabix and a piece of toast in the lead up to bed and still woke 🤯

What do I do? Contemplating the switch back to formula just for his bedtime bottle.. but reluctant as I know this isn't great either. Anyone been in this situation?

Ideally, how many hours are passing in between supper and breakfast? 12+? It’s a tough one as that’s a long time for anyone to go without eating, let alone a baby.

He has supper around 6pm then a bath followed by a bottle then has breakfast between 8-9am depending on what time he wakes.. I know that's a long time so have never worried about him waking for a 5am bottle but think it's strange how he's wanting a 2am and a 5am bottle... Maybe it's a growth spurt and nothing to do with the milk change...
