Hey all. I was wondering if anyone can advise what to do. I have. 5 month old. She's able to self soothe herself to sleep however recently she been waking up every 2 hours.
She used to give me a long stretch(5-6 hours) when I put her down for bedtime.
Now she wakes up for feeds. She has ill feeds in the day. I've tried everything.
Tried 1:45 for her wake window. I've tried 2 hours too. Tried more than 2 hours too.
She has a bedtime routine ever since she was 4 weeks: bath, massage, feed and bed.
She has 3-4 naps in the day totalling 3hrs-3hrs40.
Play white noise, room
Is dark, the temperature is ok.
I just don't know what's going on. M really worried that if she feeds so much she will be obese too in the future.

Please help, really struggling. First time mum.

Please Don't worry about obesity, babies need fat and sustenance- they grow very quickly. I had a very chubby baby girl, she turned into a child who was 15 percentile weight and 85th percentile height.

Everything is a phase and sounds like you are doing the right things, so just persevere. Is temperature ok? Sometimes being too warm/too cold can bother them.

It's normal for babies to wake often when they are learning new skills. Lots of development in the brain can cause waking, is she trying to do anything new? Have you noticed any changes? Also the extra feeding could be a growth spurt?

Hope it doesn't last too long for you it's hell being sleep deprived x
