Hello everyone,
My first ever post so excuse if I don't do this correctly
My 6 month old will nap alone ( in our bed we Co sleep) but official bed time she won't sleep / settle unless I'm with her, atm I don't mind and think she's onky little for a short while.
Buuut any hints tips or experiances for future sleeping alone?

Ty

Didn’t co-sleep so can’t give much advice on that!
Have you tried being the room with her but not being in the bed? Relaxing bedtime routine to wind down, then putting her down and being in the room, say sleepy time and then leave? Give it 5 minutes to see what she does (probably cry!!) then return, rub her back but don’t lie down with her, once she’s soothed, leave again and repeat until she’s asleep? If she can self settle for naps she must have some of the skill there. Once she’s happy with you just being by the bed, then try it just in the room, then nearer the door, then out the room?!
As you say only little once so if she’s sleeping and you’re sleeping…maybe go with it for now!

Something that worked for me in the same situation, and to break the pattern of co-sleep, play music (lullabies) with her whilst she sleeps. Then start replacing you with just the lullabies. She will associate the music with sleep and not you...

I use YouTube free lullabies/music all the time now. It's free, it's easy and really helps.

Example site (good for parents and little ones alike!) that I've used is:

Sky loves them and drifts off to sleep with these most nights.

Hope this helps x

Hello again ppl
Just curious does anyone else find usual daily tasks really super hard... If my baby crys and my dog is grumpy and the wash g machines bleeps that's it I'm flustered,
Often to the point I want to cry.
I went to the doctors several years ago and said I just cannot cope with everyday life
If I had an appointment that would tip me over the edge 🤔.
Doctor prescribed anti depressants, which tbh did help alot they stopped my mind Constantly being 100 mph.
I did query possible adhd as my son has it and my sister, but my doctor said I wouldn't be able to do what I do if I had it 😂
Even tho I'm there saying I actually find it really super hard, to cook clean work be there etc etc.
Anyway iv since had a new baby ♥
And it's back my struggles my stress levels through the roof... I don't feel sad I'm happy I have my kids a great partner and friends
No issues or other major concerns
Soo what do you guys think sound like anyone else?
