6 month old naps

I'm really struggling with my 6 month olds naps. She only wants to nap on me and always wakes up as soon as I put her down. During her nighttime routine she is happy to be held and then transferred without waking. She only wakes a few times during the night where she needs resettling, and I can see her self soothing throughout the night. Has anyone else had this issues with naps/ changed anything to help with this? I make sure to keep the nap routine like a shortened bedtime routine, but it doesn't seem to help. I'm considering sleep training to help with this, so would be interesting to hear people's experience with this, I'm not very keep on any methods that require cry it out/ any sort of crying 😬. Thanks

I find my baby will only sleep on me, or on his tummy if I put him down. Try her tummy if you haven't already :)

A barnacle baby! I have one of those oh the joys of an untidy house and choosing between eating or showering 😂 also definitely not one for the CIO method so I get you. Sorry I don’t have any advice but If you have Instagram then thelittlenestsleep and heysleepybaby are really great and have some tips (check out their highlights) I’ve tried a few but nothing specific or magic has worked for me but it might do for you? but the pages do make you realise it’s completely normal and baby will eventually get there.

Best of luck x
