Stupid duvet question

DS was 3 in September and is now in a bed rather than his cot.
We stay at our friends house quite a lot, they have a floor bed he can sleep on.
But do we need to take his duvet? Will he be OK with a normal adult TOG rating?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My child is 3 and I don't even think about duvet togs anymore. Not like I did when he was a baby. Really hoping I'm not being irresponsible here!

I would err on the side of caution and stay around 4.5tog for that age. Heck my 2 use 4.5tog year round.

Since moving into a bed at 2 both mine just had a normal duvet, but a 4.5 tog as they are usually warm at night.

OK so it looks like I should still be packing his duvet to take with us then!
