4-5am crying every night why?!

My DS is 8 weeks old and since he was born cries and seems restless and uncomfortable every night between 4-5am. I have to rock him back to sleep.

He's on omeprazole so not reflux and just been put on special formula for CMPA a day ago. I'm almost wondering if he's doing it out of habit as he wakes pretty much the same time every night (even though not hungry) mostly every 2 hours at the same hours. We contact sleep at the minute as it's such a battle to get him back to sleep in his cot.

Anyone else been through this?

This sounds perfectly normal. He’s 8 weeks old! Would you feel better about it if he woke at irregular intervals rather than the same time? Little babies don’t have bad habits.

My lo never really slept well until 6 months or so past 4am..... and she wasn't overtired.

They say early waking is overtiredness ??
