My DS has never slept through the night. He wakes every hour or so moaning. Sometimes he goes back off to sleep other times he stands up and starts shouting.
The constant moaning is like he's asleep whilst he's doing it to begin with but then can ramp up. He just never sleeps peacefully.
I just don't know what to do. I go into him when he's up but that often makes him worse.
If I don't go in I can't ignore him because he's constantly making noise, will go quiet for a bit and then start again. I've tried everything I can think of. Feeding, patting, leaving to cry. Co sleeping, breastfeeding, not breastfeeding, offering water, sending husband in. Obviously being consistent at the time. But its gone on for so long nothing has helped. The only nights I get any sleep is when I'm so tired and don't hear him as switch the sound on the monitor off. So only the stand up shouting wakes me.
Any tips on how to get the bottom of what wakes him and how to get a peaceful night. Just don't know how much longer I can go on with such little sleep
