Baby rubs eyes only at night

Help! My baby keeps rubbing her eyes at night and waking herself up. She does not touch her eyes during the day, however comes to the bed time routine (bath, bottle and bed) and she won’t stop rubbing them. We have always used a swaddle and currently has one arm out to transition to a sleep bag when she is a bit older. She is not overtired as she sleeps great in the day with her last nap 1 hour / 1 hour 30 before bed. It is keeping her awake at night and we have to hold her arm until she is in a deep sleep so she doesn’t rub them. Does anyone know why this is happening?

My boy did this. The doctor put it down to reflux. He would be at his face constantly and it would always knock his dummy out and then he would wake up crying. We ended up holding him upright for about 30 mins after a feed and lifting his cot slightly which massively helped. X
