He has done this since he was born, I was hoping through time it would get better and nothing much has changed! From around 1am when he feeds he wakes every hour. I have tried everything and I just don't know why! I'm so tired! He's on omeprazole so it's now not reflux. Maybe wind but I do burp him after feeds and then keep him upright for 10-20 mins. He will go back in the cot from 1-2am then wakes like clockwork and then I'm so tired he sleeps on me but only for an hour or so at a time!

Any advice would be so helpful as I have nothing left to try!

Sounds like pretty normal baby behaviour but there are things you can do.

If you have a DH/DP try using a T-shirts that they have worn as the sheet in the Moses basket. White noise and swaddling might help as well Smile

My DS went through something very similar!

He has reflux, which yours does too, but he also had a tongue tie. We got that cut, and increased the omeprazole dose and he now does 4-5 hours when we first put him down, and then around 3 hour chunks after that.

It’s so much more manageable than him being awake every hour!

It might be worth getting him assessed for a tongue tie? He’s now 11 weeks old (had it cut at 10) and it made a difference so quickly I wish we’d had it done earlier!
