Hi Mums....So my 11 week old has started to drop his 2am feed, therefore sleeping from 11pm to 5.30am....Its happened 4 nights in a row. Amazing of course but as a first time Mum is this the start of longer sleeps or do babys randomly do this then revert back to needing the 2am feed? His routine is up by 8am, feed, few naps here and there then awake till 11pm the down till 5.30 xx

If it's working don't change it Wink

Babies do all sorts and if he's having a growth spurt he may want the 2am bottle again.

But for now, enjoy Smile

My 10 week old dropped his 2am feed two weeks ago and has not fed during the night since :-)

Sometimes he stirs around 4ish and I give him his dummy and he sleeps till wake up time. He often stirs/wakes around 5am but I refuse to start the day at 5! So I pop him on my chest and he sleeps till 7 thankfully.

I hope your baby continues for you xx

I have a 12 week old and I haven't a clue what times he wakes up. For the last fortnight he's started sleeping 12/13 hours a night and wakes 2, sometimes 3 times for a feed. I haven't the foggiest what times these are! I just go with it and pray that the lovely long sleeps don't bite me on the arse down the line with this sleep regression I'm forever hearing about Shock

Nappies wet and dirty? Yes? No problems then.

Just sleep. Blissful sleep... zzzzz...

Gromblesofgrimbledon - Yes we are just getting night 5 finished with the same 2am feed missed....it seems to be the norm right now and yes take it while you can , sleep is so precious. I am a totally different person rested and want to do more with my bby xx

Hello! Just to warn you, mine did this and was going 10pm-4am.... Then 4 month sleep regression hit! Oh boy. Up every 45m or 1.5h. He's back to 2 feeds now and it feels like luxury.

Yours might never have a sleep regression. But just thought I'd mention ...yes they can start waking more frequently again. Much more frequently. Argh!

I totally agree with feeling like two different people depending on how much sleep I get!

Mine did this at around the same age OP. She's now 6 months and has slept through since 3 months old.

Sounds promising op!
