Nightmares

I have a little one who’s going to be two in a few weeks. He’s been a terrible sleeper and even now gets up three or four times a night, we’ve made are peace with it and roll with it.

However a couple of nights ago he had his second nightmare, we think it was about a squirrel… I know it sounds funny and it is to me as I write this, but it definitely isn’t it watching him go through this.

I normally do a quick Google when I need advise and get a load of information. However there is no advice on dealing or easing this situation for my little one.

At the moment when he sees any bed he screams, tense’s up, mumbles away and will do everything to avoid sleep and keeps staring at the bed and having a meltdown.

He’s not forgetting this nightmare and I feel with the way he’s reacting it’s not allowing him to forget.. stuck in a loop.

Any advise or similar issues any ones experienced.

Thanks
