We had a good run but now it’s back to 5am wake ups, taking over an hour to go to sleep at night and naps that range from 1.5-3 hours! I cap naps at 1.5 but nursery let him sleep for 3 hours! This means gone 9pm bedtimes but still 5am wake ups and throws us out for days.

We have a 9 week old so need at least one child who sleeps! Do we need to drop naps? He’ll be asleep quickly by 7 in no nap days. He will fall asleep in the car in the afternoon with no nap though and be cranky in the eve.

I have a 2.5 year old and by my experience I would say they're napping for too long. My daughter naps for 45 mins usually and wakes up naturally herself and at nursery doesn't nap at all. She sleeps from 7.30- 6.30qm on average most nights. Try shortening the nap for a week and see if it improves x
