Temperature 14 degree?

Hi!
Our little one's room is at 15 degrees right now. (1130pm)
As I expect it will get colder in the night, I've dressed him in a vest, babygrow and a baby knitted cardigan, and a 2.5 tog sleeping bag.
He seems comfortable, but is this too much?
What are your babies dressed in at 15 degrees? Thanks :-)

I can't help, but people will want to know how old your baby is in order to be able to offer advice Smile

It sounds very cold. Maybe a 3.5tog would be better or have an oil filled radiator to keep the temperature a bit higher

bbqpringle · 05/12/2021 00:00

I'd probably loose the cardi and use a 3.5 tog sleeping bag instead. If he's sleeping though I wouldn't be too worried, he'd wake if he was cold.

That sounds very cold, I'm sure he'll be fine but is there a reason you can't heat your house properly? If so you can talk to your heating provider for help

6 months old
15.5c at 5am here.
Long sleeve vest, sleepsuit and 2.5 tog bag
Can't really afford to heat a lot at the moment. She feels toasty though and has just slept 6-5

We had the same problem when me little one was a baby, period property mid renovation 70s radiators, massive oil bill!!!
A 3.5 tog sleeping bag with sleeves, they are a bit hard to find in UK but Google is great!

At that age DD would have worn vest, babygro and 3.5 tog sleeping bag. She’s always been fine with the cold though, your child may be different.
