Desperate, 1yr old waking screaming at 5am

I know there are probably hundreds of threads on early waking, but this one is about waking screaming at 5am and not going back to sleep whatever. I have been doing a sleep training thing with dd2 for about a week, which is working really well for getting her off to sleep and she's not waking every 2/3 hours like she was previously, however, the last couple of mornings she wakes at 5am and screams the place down, and cannot be calmed. It's very hard as she is waking dd1, who is 3 up - let alone the rest of us!
She could be teething, but medicine at that time in the morning doesn't seem to help, and if I give it before she goes to bed, it will have worn off by 5am anyway surely?
Can anyone offer advice/support??

Mine twins are going through a phase of this as well - it is horrible. We used cloth nappies, and one twin was getting very wet in the morning - we changed him to disposable over night and it seemed to help.

DS1 also went through it - we just had a rule that we didn't get him up until "getting up time" - after a while he gave up waking up early and went back to sleeping through.

The clocks changing haven't helped either !

So not much help, but some sympathy
