How to wean off last remaining night feed

Hello! My second child is now just over 6 months old and sleeps beautifully, falls asleep on her own when we put her down, and sleeps all the way through with one wake-up at night for a bottle, which she drinks completely. However, as she’s over 50th centile for weight, nearly 90th centile for height, and is over 6 months old, I would like to wean her off this as she doesn’t need to be drinking in the night any more, and should take it during the day instead (plus we really want to just all be sleeping through!). Has anyone got any tricks of the trade as to how they weaned off this final feed? We don’t want to resort to cry it out really because she sleeps so well on her own that I don’t think it’ll work…

Bearing in mind my youngest is 28 tomorrow what I did back then and what is recommended now could be different. I gradually made the formula weaker, so first week 8 scoops, 8oz water, then 7 scoops to 8oz, and so on. Made the feed weaker rather than just switching straight to water. It worked with mine.

We were planning on the gradual water change but my husband made the first "weaning night" bottle with half water / half milk. The second night we gave just water and by the third night he slept through it!! I'd give that a go. Best of luck.
