11 weeks and won’t nap during the day help

My 11 week old dd won’t nap during the day unless she is being rocked to sleep. I can transfer her to her dockatot once she is really asleep but she will wake up a few minutes later. She is fine sleeping at night doesn’t matter how awake she is we put her in her bassinet, turn all the lights off and put white noise on and she goes to sleep within 20 minutes without a fuss. Tried doing the same during the day for naps and she eventually goes to sleep but only for 20mins or so. I just don’t know what to do. I am finding rocking her so exhausting and depressing as I end up having to sit on the sofa for hours just so she has a decent nap. I love a cuddle but I am just desperate for her to take a nap anywhere but me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

When mine were only 11 weeks I was personally quite eager to embrace the sofa, start a new box set and have a great excuse not to do housework 🤣

Presuming you’ve tried the movement of the pram and bouncer to no avail, then next thing I’d try is a sling. That way she can still sleep on you but you’re not as confined.

And mine both slept through overnight in their cot from around 10-12 weeks old but would not even consider napping there until they were 6 months old. Babies are weird!

What have you tried so far?

Sorry but I contact napped mine until 6 months. But I found holding until they're in a deep sleep (takes 20 mins) and then transferring the way to keep them down for longer.

Not what you want to hear but my DS didn’t nap anywhere but me or the carrier until 6 months wasn’t a natural self settler and my DD (4 months) is the same so far.
