14 month old suddenly refusing to sleep in cot.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice. I have a 14 month old and up until a few weeks ago he would sleep in his cot with no problems what so ever. But recently as he's been teething and had a cold we've been co-sleeping. Tried last night and tonight with no luck to get him to sleep in his cot and he straight up refuses, even if I lie in the cot with him he screams, if I leave him he stands up and screams until I place him into bed with me. I've reassured him everything is ok but nothing is working.
Now I'm not complaining about bed sharing with him, I am LOVING the snuggles but I do need to break the habit. Is it worth moving the cot back into my bedroom and transitioning him in that way?

As soon as he's in bed with me he grabs onto me snuggles into me and stays like that the duration of the night, if he realises I'm not holding him in anyway it's game over and he cries again, could this be separation anxiety?
Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks!Grin

I’m in the same boat. To be honest, I’m just rolling with it for now. I like the snuggles, he likes the snuggles, everyone’s happy. I might regret it later, but I think they eventually just want their own space (so i’m told).
