Time to night wean?

My son is 6.5 months old. He was weighed last week and is 98th centile! He's long and also pretty chunky.
Weaning is going well and he has some purée or porridge most meal times and finger foods, which he generally gives a good go. He has 4 bottles in the day, usually takes about 5oz (use to be more before he started food).
He doesn't sleep through the night, tends to wake between 2-4am. Usually does a poo, then it's a struggle to resettle him. I have been giving him a small 4oz feed but this doesn't actually seem to settle him. He often stays awake for ages afterwards, crying whilst I try to shhh him or rock him. At times he's been teething or unwell but this has basically been the case for 6 weeks.
Is it time to night wean? I feel like he doesn't need it given his weight and fact he eats well in the day. Maybe it's prolonging his night waking somehow?
He has a good routine and naps quite well 2.5 - 3 hours a day across 2 naps.

I would cut out the bottle for a few nights and see how he gets on. Every child is different and just because he's a great weight doesn't always mean they're ready to drop one. But mine were earlier than yours is so its possible.

What time is his last bottle?! If you think he is waking up because he is hungry could you dream feed him about 11ish and see if that helps his sleep through.
