11mo won't resettle at night

11mo DD goes down in her cot fine for naps and at the start of the night. However when she wakes at night (which is still very frequent) she has recently started to scream every time I put her down after feeding / cuddling her. Even if I spend ages cuddling her until she's fast asleep, she stays asleep for maybe 5-10 minutes in her cot and then starts again. Last night I was up from about 11pm-4am in this endless cycle. She settles much better for my DH but it still takes him an hour or so of cuddling until she's deeply asleep and I can't ask that of him on a work night. Any suggestions?! Feeling a bit desperate!

My DD has been doing this recently (she's 12 months), and I've had a few people suggest it's a sign of being overtired. Mine is in the process of dropping her second nap, which might explain it. What's your DD's daytime sleep like?

Hmm her day sleep has never been great (usually averages 1hr30 across two naps) but she has on a couple of occasions gone down to just one nap recently so maybe there's something in it. Still not sure why she settles so quickly for DH but gets so furious at me though! I'll try extra hard with naps and see how we get on.
