Waking hour after bed time

So confused!
My 5mo self settles for all naps and bedtimes and has pretty much always gone back to sleep on his own after waking for a feed. However the last few weeks he’s started waking up an hour after bedtime. The only thing I think is he could be over tired? Has anyone else had this

I'm definitely no expert but I think I read that waking shortly after settling for night usually indicates overtiredness. What are his wake windows like in the day? At 5 months he shouldn't be awake for more than about 2 hours, or maybe a little longer if tolerated.

It’s usually about 2 hours, 1 hr 50 in the morning, and then more in the afternoon. I’ve been trying 2 hrs 15 at night. Maybe if I try 2 hours in the evening as well?
