Linking sleep cycles for naps

Hello!

Hoping someone (anyone!) can help…. my 6 month old sleeps relatively well at night time - 6.30/6.45 till 7ish where he only needs rolled back over as hes woken himself up rolling back onto front or settled due to waking 1-2 times a night however he is often very unsettled for a few hours after bedtime crying on and off in his sleep. He only naps for 3 x 25 mins a day and I am sure he is so unsettled after bedtime as he is overtired due to so little day sleep.

Does anyone have any ideas?! Could this be the problem?

How can I encourage him to link daytime nap cycles?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi!

I struggled with naps with my little girl she's now 18 months and naps and sleeps great. Do you have a white noise machine? Blackout blinds? Does he self settle?

I found all of these things helped, the white noise machine seemed to help get her to sleep and keep her asleep. I remember reading something about it helping sleep cycles not sure how true that is but it really helped! We keep hers on all night for her now.
