4 month sleep progression - how to get through it? Does it get easier?

Hey everyone, I'm new to mumsnet and just wondered if anyone had any advice on the horrid 4 month sleep progression please.

Ds has always been a great sleeper from the start but these last couple weeks have been a struggle. It's taking me hours to get him down, trying all types of ways to settle him. And then on top of this he's now waking at 5/6am wide awake, sometimes as early as 4.

I don't really like to moan about the awake times as seeing his little face light up makes it all worth it but due to having epilepsy I'm finding the lack of sleep soo hard and feel so guilty for not being the happy bubbly mummy I want to be.

Anyway if anyone has any advise I would truly appreciate it. X

No advice but solidarity as we’re going through the same right now. Into week 4 and back to 3 hours of sleep at a stretch so hoping it won’t be much longer as we were at an impressive 8-5 previously 🙈
