90 minute awake time/ sleep cycles

Has anyone tried the 90 minute awake time/ sleep cycle for naps during the day and if so any luck?
I have a very alert/ cryey 8 week old and am realising they must be overtired most of the time as am struggling to implement naps during the day. This morn woke at 6 and put back down again at 7.30 and couldn't believe it when she actually went to sleep. Could be a fluke but certainly going to try for a while and see how it goes. Also what time would you have last nap in eve or would you follow this cycle all day?

At under 3 months, it would be very unusual to have wake windows greater than 1h, it may well be as short as 40 minutes awake between naps.

This may well just be enough time to feed, wind, check nappy with a bit of floor time and then straight back to settling to sleep.

Regarding last nap through to bedtime, at this age you just follow your nap cycles throughout your daytime (So that might be 7am-10pm, for example) without any difference in the evenings.

For example

Wake > Feed > Wind > Floor time / nappy check > (any crying...) > top up feed / dummy > Settling to sleep > sleep

Repeat over and over again until you go to bed. A reasonable average for this would be that the whole cycle (from wake to wake, so including a nap and wake window) is about 2h to 2h30m. Wake Window approximate is 40-60 mins.
