So, I used to be able to give my daughter 28/01/2019 a bottle of milk in her bed and say night and shut the door and then that was kind of it until the morning. Then we went on a 2 week holdiay and she slept in a travel cot and then when we returned home she wanted my husband to hold her hand whilst she falls to sleep. This wasn't a problem then as she would still remain in her room. Then I had to have an operation and now it's progressed into if she wakes up in the night she runs through crying and husband has to go in and sit with her again until she falls asleep. This is happening multiple times a night. We have tired to do the whole put in bed and leave but this went on until 4 am and she ended up throwing up, feel so awful but she needs a full night sleep and we have a 8 month old baby that we don't want to keep waking , any advice would be great

If you're going to do the Back to Bed method, you need to see it through and be consistent. Or it won't work.
