Confusion about what to wear with Sleeping bag

Hi, we have a GroSnug Cosy and also have a JoJo Maman Bebe 2.5 tog sleeping bag (which seems much much thicker than the GroSnug Cosy).

For 16-18 degrees:
GroSnug recommend the sleeping bag PLUS sleep suit.
JoJo Manam Bebe recommend the sleeping bag PLUS long sleeved bodysuit AND sleepsuit.

Seems to me that the JoJo Maman bebe combination is much warmer than GroSnug recommendation. Am I overthinking this? Seems the 2.5 tog is much thicker than the GroSnug Cozy

Thank you for any guidance on this

I've found this confusing too. Our 2.5 tog sleeping bag instructions said for 19-20 deg to wear short sleeve vest, 17-19 to wear long sleeve vest and below 17 to wear sleep suit. I tried following this but our daughter was definitely cold! Our room is usually 17/18 degrees and she wears a short sleeve vest plus sleep suit under the sleeping bag. This seems about right for her with that particular bag! I think it is a bit baby/sleeping bag specific to be honest, might be a bit of trial and error?

My LO is 2.5 tog and long vest sleeve room is 18 to 20. Any more clothing she's sweating. I think as pp said depends on your lo and trial and error.
