They will, promise. :)

that's tough, OP

I seem to have mild ear ache or otitis externa, or something. Been awake since 2:36am. Irk.

Fallagain · 25/10/2021 05:29

Yep, poorly toddler has been awake for 2 hours. My five year old mostly sleeps through so it does get better. Nights like these are long and lonely.

How old is your little one and whats wrong with them?

KatherineofGaunt · 25/10/2021 05:30

Not a poorly baby, but DS just thinks 5am is wake up time. 😴

bananapancake0 · 25/10/2021 05:33

@Fallagain she is 10 months & has hand, foot & mouth. Thought we were at the end of it as she's much better in herself but tonight has been the worst night of all. She is now asleep on me but starts screaming every time I try to move 😫

@Fallagain what's wrong with your toddler?

I'm awake and I don't have a baby. Mine were actually pretty good sleepers - or my memory has wiped it out.
I'm awake stressing about money at the moment (doing a house renovation). Though come to think of it, worrying about my 18 year old was what started me fretting!

Fallagain · 25/10/2021 05:50

That sounds tough. Luckily we’ve avoided HFM but i know lots of kids with it. My toddler is two weeks into a cold but I’m starting to suspect she has a chest infection.

She norm sleeps in my arms for most of the night but tonight she is just not sleeping.

Newwifeatnumber10 · 25/10/2021 05:51

Wide awake since 4.30 worrying about work.

bananapancake0 · 25/10/2021 06:00

@Fallagain aw 2 weeks is a long time, hope she improves soon.
It's hard as I'll just be alone with her all day tomorrow, there's no break.

Sending love to everyone awake worrying

I'm awake feeding my two week old right now but I feel you OP, my 4 year old and 21 month old had hand, foot and mouth last week. It was horrible, they were so poorly with it. Sad

They both definitely started feeling brighter on day 3, I hope your little one feels much better soon too. Flowers

Currently awake with a nearly 1 year old who may be slightly teething but has decided he won't sleep in his cot this week :( dad can't help as is sick with coronavirus

BunnytheFriendlyDragon · 25/10/2021 06:45

Hope your LO is ok OP

I'm up feeding my 4 month old - third wake up but it is technically morning so I suppose it's fair to say he had two wake ups and I'm trying to prolong the night and get another sleep!

Now scared of the hand, foot and mouth though!

BreadmanAndCake · 25/10/2021 07:33

My ten month old also has HFM at the moment, it's horrible. We seem to be coming out the other side of it now though as his sleeping is improving. We had a couple of awful nights where he screamed constantly. Hoping your little one is feeling much better soon BrewThanks
