Sharing a room

Hiya,
Due to have a baby in Jan, my DD will be 4 and obviously I will have baby in with me for 6-12 months but then they'll share a room. Does anyone have any experiences or tips for getting a 1 & 4.5 year old to share a room, please? Is it unworkable?
