10 month old suddenly not sleeping through

Hi all. I have a 10 month old baby who from about 3 months old slept through the night. He would sleep between 8-10 hours with no issues. For the past two weeks he has woken every night multiple times for varying lengths of time. Sometimes he just wants to be picked up, sometimes he wants milk. It’s been difficult to get him back down as well. Me and my partner are a bit clueless as to why this is suddenly happening. He doesn’t appear to be teething or unwell. We wondered if it was maybe a growth spurt? Nothing has happened suddenly that could have triggered this.
Has anyone else been through this? Just looking for tips and advice.

Is he working on a new skill? Walking perhaps? Often that disrupts their sleep.

I wonder if baby is ready for a routine change in the daytime. Whats daytime routine like?

He is he’s doing lots of new things that he hasn’t done before which is why we suspected it may be related to a growth spurt/ developmental stage.

Hi. I agree that he needs a bit of a day routine change. His usual naps are all over the place as he seems to want them at different times now. Occasionally he has woken up and wanted food in the night so thinking of giving him more substantial meals as well in case he’s hungry as I think he’s also having a growth spurt.
I think he’s thrown himself off his routine completely and he’s been having lie ins in the mornings because he’s up around 5.

Following as my 11 month old has suddenly started waking more at night too, after previously (mostly) sleeping through. She has been ill and teething but she's better now and I'm worried it's just become a habit.

I just wanted to provide an update. After posting this I spoke with a few others who had experienced this.
When my 10 month (now 2) was waking we would get up with him. He was still sleeping next to me in his cot (due to a house move, his room wasn’t ready). Instead of getting up I would put my hand in him/ talk to him and he’d go back to sleep. Over time he stopped been fussy waking up. He’d stand up to look at me and I’d stroke his face or his arm and he be back to sleep.
He did sort himself out and was back to sleeping through. I think he was having a growth spurt but also maybe liked been picked up. He’s been fine since.
