the past 3 days my little boy has woken up an hour earlier than usual, hysterical and screaming but still has his eyes closed, nothing helps, no temperature, nappy is fine ect.

he’s 3 months old. I’m fine to wake up earlier that’s not the issue.

he seems like he’s in pain. but as soon as i sit him up or wake him up he settles, so it almost seems like he’s struggling to wake? is that a thing? thank you

Is he cold? Temperature has dropped recently and it’s pretty cold early hours.

May be a bad dream.... Though he is too young for that. My child used to get up in tears at night and I had to wake him up to reassure him that all is well. This happened rarely though.

Yep Dd2 did that at that age for while. Like it’s a bad dream. Sometimes it was wind though
