Next to me cribs at window

Hi,

I briefly seen someone mention you should not have a cot next to a window or radiator. Does anyone know what the advice is on this?

We have a next to me which was going to go on our side of the bed which is very close to a radiator that for some reason doesn't turn down and close to the window.

Is it best to some how re jig the room or is it ok to leave it as it is?

It’s really important that babies don’t overheat, so no I wouldn’t put a next to me by a radiator unless you turn it off completely. Window I think would be for the same reason of it getting too hot but that’s not a worry if it’s just for overnight sleep and they won’t be in direct sunlight x
