Baby more interested in feeding at night than day- any suggestions?

As per title, my 6 month old gal is still waking up for two or three feeds in the night- 7oz bottles (formula fed)- I don’t think it’s anything to do with comfort as she screams bloody murder until a bottle appears so she must be hungry. She does eat in the day but only about 4 bottles of around 4oz and never seems that fussed, just eats it when I prompt her to. There are no health concerns as she seems to be doing ok. I’ve checked with the HV who was useless to be honest. If she’s just a hungry baby of course I don’t mind waking up to feed, but it just feels like she has her feeding schedule flipped a bit and I would like to unflip it if poss 😂. Any one else had this?

Maybe gradually reduce the amount of milk in those night feeds so she hopefully starts taking more during the day

Have you started weaning? As she eats more it might improve a bit.

That said both mine went through a period at 6 months where they woke loads at night.

We are going to try this tonight- we were going the opposite way and getting 7oz bottles down her in the hope she’d only have one wake up but I don’t think that’s working

Yes just started a couple of weeks ago so fingers crossed as we move onto two meals a day it satiates her a bit.

Have you tried giving her something like porridge before her bedtime bottle to try & keep her tummy fuller for longer & help her sleep through? I used to give ds a bowl of either baby porridge until he got towards 12 months & then ready brek once he was 12 months. He used to have tea around 4 30pm, play & tummy time until maybe 6.45, then bath & pjs, porridge at 8.00pm, bottle at 8.30pm, ds was a poor sleeper so I never put him down until later in the hope he would sleep. Once he was drinking cows milk I swapped him to Horlicks at bedtime.
