Just curious how much sleep an 11 month old should get on an average day?

I've read different opinions and tried different routine but still having night wakings and early rises.

I never know if my son is having too much or too little day sleep which then impacts his night.

We have tried 30 mins morning, 2 hours afternoon.

1 hour morning, 1.5 hours afternoon.

1.5 hours morning, 1.5 hours afternoon.

Sometimes he only naps once all day for 30 mins.

Rarely sleeps 12 hours at night. Usually around 10-11 with wakings.

Sounds like our 14month old, she will have 9-11 hours an night and then anywhere between 30mins to 2.5 hr mid day naps. I guess it's down to the child, their activity levels and if they want to sleep or not

Usually around 15h in 24h.

Your night wakes are most likely to do with not having independant settling nailed yet. How do you get baby back to sleep when waking?

@FATEdestiny

He is able to self settle. He goes down awake for most naps and nighttime sleep and falls asleep independently within about 10 mins.

During the night we have tried settling and leaving him but ultimately a bottle is what gets him back to sleep
