Hi all.

My LO is 7 months and want to move her into her own room. I think we're disturbing each other now.

I know the positives of it and the negatives. Just wondering how you actually did it? Same as you would when in own room? Any special ways?

Or was it literally same routine jusy in different room?

Ours wasn't too keen on being left alone so my husband and I did a gradual retreat sleep plan at 6.5 months where we did a bath and bed routine then one of us sat in the room with him until he fell asleep. Over the space of a week or so we moved the chair further towards the door until we got to to the stage where we could put him down and leave the room.

Thank you. Yeah she's the same tbh and that's in our room. I swear she wakes in the night to make sure I'm still there.

Last night was very bad night. She literally woke up cause I dropped something. And then would not settle for the night. From 12am 😴 and its not the first time.

We have white noise too and my Oh won't sleep in our room now as he can't sleep with the noise and tbh he wakes lo up more then I do with his snoring 😂

I would really like my Oh in our room at some point x

We always used her room for dressing, nappy change, bed time routine etc so then one night just put her to sleep in the cot with all her usually toys, teddies white noise etc. She was 8 months old and always seemed to find it snuggly. I also found these sensory night lights that stay on till dawn, and the monitor as projector lights onto the ceiling so it's not pitch black in there.

Hummm yeah shes spent some time in there but not as much as that. We always go in get her clothes and do some bits.

We have a gro temp egg thing which is enough light for her.

I have decided to just swallow and go with the move tonight. All prepared so far.... 🤔 Unless I change my mind. Bet I end up sleeping in there 😂

I started doing day naps in there and after a couple of weeks doing that, I put him in there overnight too. He still fed a few times a night so I put a stifle bed in there too and slept in there until he just fed once per night.

Yeah. We have a single bed in there as we have our step kids come over 2 times a month. So can sleep there if needed. She doesn't usually have a feed. If she does it's just the one normally.

So. Put her down in her cot and not heard a peep yet.... 🤔
