My almost two year old DS will not sleep under a duvet or blanket. This has now been for the last 7/8 months. Anything you cover him with, he will wake kicking and crying until it's gone even if sound asleep.

He slept in a grobag but once he turned 1 ish he rejected this and will not be put in one. Over the summer I've let him sleep in just his PJs without anything over him and keep him in a vest to keep him warm.

He's now waking in the night cold. He feels cold and is telling me he's cold.

Can anyone suggest or give some feedback on warm PJs or similar that might keep him toasty without blankets etc? He won't have his feet covered so would have to be a footless babygro style or regular PJs.

What about a warm onesie?

That would be ideal but I can't find any anywhere. I can get baby ones but they stop at 18-24months. I can find older ones age 4+ but everywhere seems to have a gap for age 2-3.
He does still fit in 18-24 months but they won't last long so I'm trying to buy new stuff in 2-3.

You can get sleeping bags which are more like zip up baby grows for toddlers. There's one called Grobag steppee.

Would something like this work, OP? It’s basically a 2.5 tog duvet onesie:

Try slumbersac. They have loads of different onesie style 'bags'. Not cheap but they do have discount codes quite often, and there is a sale section. We have a couple and they are great.
